YOGATHERAPY
IIHH's definition of yogatherapy is "health promotion via maintenance and enhancement of
mind - body coordination" including , physical, respiratory and mental programs.
This is more particular definition of yoga which has been disintegrated of historical, philosophic and holistic data of yogic sciences.
IIHH suggests an experimental approach to yoga but it is not a
collection of scattered data.
We are investigating an organistic clinical way to health on the base of biopsychosocial
approach and yoga in this manner is a historical paradigm.
Yogasana (physical exercises), pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation
(mental exercises) are some of outcomes of very vast and deep introspective
researches of yogis along thousands years of try and error.
Ethnomedical studies through recent decades, specially
WHO's studies, showed effectiveness of some of this intuitive and
semiemperic experiences
of yogi traditional practitioners.
IIHH is working out an integral mind-body approach to health , in the form of a simple,
modern and global health program.
