APPROACH TO VITAL FORCE ;
COMMON ASPECT OF HOLISTIC MEDICAL SYSTEMS

    This essay is a comparative study on basic hypothesis of Acupuncture, Ayurveda, Yoga, Homeopathy, Alchemic medicine and Greece traditional medicine.

    In all of this traditional systems, "Vital force" is assumed as a essence of life, treatment and thought which named: Prana, Ki, Metal spirit and others in different systems.

    From these point of views human and nature were made upon vital force and life and all of its physical, mental and spiritual changes are interpreted as vital force equations. 

    From a modern aspect, vital force is introduced as an animistic and mythic phenomena but it is revised in current evolutions of physics and biology. 

   This study analyzes cultural, philosophical and scientific out lines of "Vital force theory" and attempts to define it on the basis of psychoneuroimmunology and bioenergetics.
