Ethnomedical Tour
Medical discourse is one of the main aspects of culture. In spite of biomedical viewpoint,
medicine is not only a collection of applied prescriptions but contains
epistemic and
cultural dimensions .
IIHH on the base of survey studies and experiences in medical anthropology
of Iran designed this scientific and cultural tour.
Programs:
1. Visiting traditional medicine centers of Iran.
2. Ethnomedical trips: An introduction to ethnic and native therapies.
3. Introduction to religious and mystic therapies.
4. Libraries and introducing medical manuscripts of
Iran.
5. Visiting historical and cultural centers.
