EFFECT OF HYPNOSIS ON PEMPHIGUS AND RELATED SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS,  a case report

Abstract:

   
Treatment of a 36 years old woman affected by pemphigus with hypnotherapy and therapeutic metaphors. In the beginning she was taking : tab predenison 30 mg/day and cyclosporin 200 mg/day and bulla of various sizes was strewn on face, trunk, hands and mouth.

    Over weight (121kg/h:161cm), dyspnea and depression were some of other problems. After 3 session of hypnotherapy she had not any new bulla and her lesions decreased to about 3 bulla. 

After 8 sessions her pharmaceutical regiment was decreased to prednison 5mg and cyclosporin 50mg, her life quality was progressed gradually and she was responsible for all of her housework and achieved an appropriate family function.  After 3 monthes follow up was not seen any bulla and her weight had been reduced to 108kg. 

   This assay provided some reasons for psychoneurolmmnologic approach to pemphigus and probably other autoimmune disease.
