Patient Education

Introduction:

Patient education mean's changing "passive patient" to "active patient".

Contemporary biomedical services contain three main gaps:
          a- mind-body gap
          b- man-nature gap
          c- specialization gap

Person (patient) as a intellectual part of hierarchy of life may connect scattered parts of medical human being.

Informational-therapeutic interventions of patient education as negentropic approaches provide:
         1. mind-body coordination
         2. Adaptive control of physical and communicative inputs
         3. Integral Health care

In this center, patient education is concentrated on cognitive interventions (Hypnotherapy,
Cognitive therapy, NLP) and behavioral interventions (Yoga, Meditation, Nutrition therapy, communicative skills).

All of above methods are based on rearrangement of natural activities (somatic, mental, social) without any additional interventions such as pharmaceutical or surgical.

From April 2000 about 700 patient were registered in this biopsychosocial educative program and
Several case reports (physical/mental patients) supported effectiveness, cost benefitness and safety of this informational packages.
