This assay report's hypnotic management of a 12 years boy affected by
asthma from 3 years of age. He involved asthma attack in response to physical activities, strong odors, feather, dust, and
pungent foods in spite of his regular medicinal regiment (intal-clobetasol-sulbotamol), and so
he also suffered dyspnea and wheezing during sleep.
We assigned a conditioned key to control attacks after 2 sessions. The key performed instead of sulbotamol spray at the time of attacks, it was
more efficacious than sulbotamol. After 5th
session attacks due to physical effort were disappeared even in exercise.
He was still sensitive to chemical stimulants but lesser than befor and well controlled by the key. Sleep dyspnea and wheezing cured completely. and his medications were stopped and after 11th session, desensitization during hypnosis was completed and he
tolerated great amounts of the allergens and longer exposures.
He followed up after 6 monthes and there
was no symptom or clinical findings of asthma. He exercised
several sports hardly without any problem but unexpectedly in
control spirometery was seen lesser changing and showed a mild to
moderate obstruction. Most of mechanisms involved in this
type of therapy are unknown still and need more clinical
and experimental researches.
